I am a successful small businessman and a patriot who loves America and always sees its greatness. I am also an optimistic, positive thinker who always sees the glass half full.

But not this time.

I predicted doom if Obama was elected. Sadly the results are far worse than imagined. The economy is in shambles. America is staring at economic disaster -- Armageddon. Even me, the eternal optimist is scared at what the future holds. We are the Titanic, headed straight for the iceberg.

America has always been a land of boom and bust. It’s just part of business cycle. But Obama and his socialist cabal have channeled Hoover and FDR, who turned an ordinary bust into The Great Depression with a toxic strategy of more government, more spending, more debt, more rules and regulations strangling business, higher minimum wages, more power to unions, more entitlements, higher taxes, more printing of money by Fed, and trade tariffs. This is the Obama blueprint squared.

The question this time is, is Obama doing it because he understands nothing about business? Or does he understand exactly what he's doing? Is Obama's goal to overwhelm the system, incite crisis, sow doubt about capitalism, and force the citizens to beg for government to save them, thereby opening the door to Socialism? Is Obama's plan to redistribute the wealth, and at the same time to bankrupt the people with wealth and power, thereby crippling his political opposition?

Does it really matter?

Here's where the story gets downright frightening. This time the results are going to be dramatically worse than 1929. This time we are facing The Greatest Depression ever.

Why? Because The Great Depression had NONE of problems and obligations we are now facing:

In 1929 America was not $100 trillion in debt and unfunded liabilities.

In 1929, most of our states were not bankrupt, insolvent and dependent on the federal government to survive.

In 1929, we had far fewer government employees living off taxpayers. Today 1 out of 5 federal employees earn over $100,000. California lifeguards and Las Vegas firemen earn $200,000. 77,000 federal employees earn more than the Governors of their states. Government employees retire at age 50 with $100,000 pensions for life. The postal service - without competition- loses $8 billion annually. Protected by their unions and the politicians they elect, government employees are bankrupting America. Even FDR said he could not imagine allowing public employees to unionize.

In 1929, Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid didn’t exist. The federal government had no such obligations threatening to consume the entire federal budget within a few years.

In 1929, there was no such thing as welfare, food stamps, aid to dependent children, or English as a second language programs. American’s didn’t consider it the responsibility of government to pay for breakfast and lunch for school students - let alone illegal immigrants.

In 1929, we didn’t have millions of illegal immigrants and their children collecting billions of dollars in entitlements from U.S. taxpayers.

In 1929, legal immigrants wanted only to work. My grandparents from Russia and Germany received no government benefits. They worked day and night to provide for their family and become American citizens. It was sink or swim.

In 1929, we had 150 million citizens with a strong work ethic- all motivated to earn the American Dream for their children and grandchildren. Americans were hungry in 1929. Today the hungry, motivated citizens and entrepreneurs are in China and India.

In 1929, we had an education system that was the envy of the world. Today our public schools are in shambles. We spend the most in the world, and get among the worst results. The difference today? Teachers unions are in charge, instead of parents

Our students are taught socialism and the great benefits of big government. They graduate with few skills, qualified only for low paying manufacturing jobs that no longer exist- they've been shipped to China and India. What will this workforce do for the rest of their lives? Live off the government dole? Who will pay for it?

In 1929 children had hope for the future. Today they are hopeless, helpless, and clueless – an entire generation that only knows drugs, gangs, rappers, government handouts, teen pregnancy- and it goes downhill from there.

In 1929 taxes were much lower. Forget the tax rates- they were meaningless. In those days we had a cash economy, so most businesses paid little or no taxes. Sales and FICA taxes didn’t exist. Today the combined local, state, property, gas, sales, FICA and federal taxes are the highest burden in history. This stifles entrepreneurship and hinders the financial risk-taking necessary to create jobs and get out of a Great Depression.

Do you get the picture? Disaster looms. We are staring at the Greatest Depression ever.

Still doubt me? Did you read the recent news report of 80 teen girls all pregnant in one Memphis high school? That’s 80…eighty…in one high school. This is happening all over the USA. Who will pay the bills?

We are in deep, deep trouble. There is no easy way out. The noose is tightening. The economy is crumbling. The situation is turning more hopeless by the hour. The more government gets involved, the worse it gets. Coincidence?

The solution is simple- cut government, cut spending, cut entitlements, cut taxes, stop the wars, end the Fed, term limit politicians, and back the dollar with a gold standard. Mark the date - Thursday May 19th. It’s the day the leopard showed his spots. It’s the day Obama stabbed Israel in the back. It's the day he told Israel, DROP DEAD.

For the first time in history an American President has chosen to abandon our great friend and ally, Israel, in favor of radical Muslims led by the terrorist group Hamas. But, mark this also as a great day- the day Obama lost the 2012 election. Obama has awakened a sleeping giant- American Jews and Christians, united in their love and support for Israel. They are outraged, shocked and sickened. Obama clearly showed his radical and hateful colors. The American people will not forget.

Just days ago, because of the weak GOP field, I wrote that Obama was the favorite for re-election. Thursday that all changed. Obama’s ego and hatred of Israel could not allow him to play possum for another eighteen months when he’d be re-elected. He could then unleash the full extent of his anti-capitalism, anti-American, anti-Israel venom without having to ever face American voters again. But, like all radical true believers, his hatred is so extreme he couldn’t wait. He’s been so indoctrinated by communist organizers, Marxist professors, terrorist sympathizers, and radical Muslim apologists, that he just couldn’t contain himself.

On Thursday, Obama left no doubt that he sides with and wants to redistribute money from American taxpayers to Palestinians and radical Muslims like Hamas that target Israeli women and children…that encourage their own children to become suicide bombers…that hand out candy in celebration for the murder of an innocent Jewish baby…that force women to endure public lashings for disobeying a husband…that execute women for “allowing themselves” to be gang-raped…that pour acid on the face of little girls who dare to want an education…who throw gay men off the roofs of buildings…who marry off their 5-year-old daughters to pay the bills…who imprison all women for life behind dark veils in 120 degree heat, to keep them from being seen by other men.

Obama wants to redistribute your taxpayer money to radicals who attack churches and murder Christians. He wants more foreign aid for Egypt, a country headed for domination by the Muslim Brotherhood, an ally of Nazis in WWII. That is who Obama has chosen to side with over a modern, capitalist, American-loving Israeli society with democracy, freedom and equality for men, women, gays, and Arabs. Not perfection, because we all know that neither America nor Israel is perfect. But, like in America, all people (including Muslims) enjoy far more freedom in Israel in any Muslim country.

If you are a thinking, fair-minded person, Christian or Jew, that supports Israel’s right to exist, you must be sickened and outraged by Obama’s demand for Israel to return to its 1967 borders. That demand displaces over 300,000 Israeli citizens. What right does America have to make 300,000 people of another country homeless? What right does America have to meddle in Israel’s affairs? What right does America have to demand an ally give up its own territory won in a defensive war? Should America give Texas back to Mexico? Should we hand Boston back to the British? What right does Obama have to give away the land Israel needs to provide natural defenses from Hamas missiles and terrorist attacks? What if America’s meddling leads to the destruction of Israel and the death of millions of innocent Israelis? With friends like this, Israel no longer needs enemies.

If you are a Libertarian non-interventionist who has “no dog in the hunt,” you should be outraged that an American President is choosing sides at all. You should be outraged that Obama is inflaming tensions that could lead to World War III. You should be outraged that instead of cutting off foreign aid to radical countries, or eliminating all foreign aid, Obama on this same day recommended several billion dollars in new foreign aid to countries filled with radical hate for America, as well as Jews and Christians worldwide.

If you have common sense you should be outraged at the very idea of throwing away more money. America is broke. We must cut back dramatically on foreign aid, or eliminate it. Why would we commit billions to countries ruled by despots and radicals that hate America and support the destruction of Israel? Billions from where? We now borrow almost 50% of what we spend and Obama wants to give away more money that we have to borrow from China, or have the Fed print more fake money to give away to people that hate us? This defines reckless and radical.

Obama no longer speaks for the American people. On Thursday he made that clear. He also lost the election that day. Jewish voters will never again feel the same about Obama. And while Jews make up only 2% of America’s population, they provide a majority of the donations to Democratic politicians. Obama lost many crucial Democratic donors on Thursday. But Obama’s biggest mistake was awakening a sleeping giant. It is Christian voters that elect Presidents. And almost 100 million evangelical Christians who love Israel will now vote and donate to Obama’s opponents with a fervor and passion of a patriotic group on a mission to save America and Israel from destruction. And sadly, they will be right.

Republican Presidential contenders are melting like tourists on the Vegas Strip, without sunscreen, on a 117 degree day in July. Doesn’t anyone in the GOP actually want to run against the worst President in modern American history?

It can’t be Obama’s record that’s scaring Republicans. Obama is overseeing the worst economy since 1929…contributed heavily to the worst sovereign debt crisis in history…presiding over the worst collapse in real estate ever…helping to ensure the highest gas prices in history by refusing to allow oil drilling until recently…the list goes on and on. You’d think the Republican contenders would be licking their lips at running against that record? Instead they are falling by the wayside.

Let’s examine the carnage. This analyst and political pundit predicted Donald Trump’s political career was over three weeks ago when “The Donald” played casino pit boss and F-bombed his way through a Vegas speech. Have you ever heard of multiple F-bombs in a major political speech in by a Presidential contender? Unimaginable.

Forget the birth certificate controversy. Trump was still sitting high in the polls even after Obama released his birth certificate. But there was no escaping using multiple F-bombs on the biggest political stage. Not in a GOP filled with evangelical Christian voters, and parents who wash their children’s mouth out with soap for using that same word. Donald “F-bomb” Trump’s political career ended that day in Vegas.

What about Huckabee? A Presidential frontrunner, this former man of God couldn’t turn down fame and money. Huckabee proves even the Presidency isn’t as lucrative as a TV show on Fox News.

Then there’s Newt Gingrich. I winced as I heard Newt’s words on Sunday. It’s tough to watch a political career implode on national TV. Newt’s career is over. Forget President. I mean any future political career. Senator. Governor. Dog catcher. Newt was electrocuted on the third rail of GOP politics. He supported big government control of our lives, backed the central tenet of Obamacare, called the GOP proposal for cutting Medicare spending “radical right wing social engineering,” and back-stabbed GOP Congressional hero Paul Ryan. All in one day. Goodnight Newt. You and your third wife can go home now.

And then there’s Mitt Romney. Mitt had the White House for the asking. One speech apologizing for Romneycare and promising to never allow it to happen again, and Romney is the next President of the United States. Here’s the speech that Mitt should have given:

“I made a big mistake. States can act as laboratories for new ideas. We tried an experiment with government-directed health care in my state. It didn’t work. Costs are up. Waits are up. Doctors are leaving the state. The experiment failed. I was wrong and I apologize. But good things can come out of failure, if you learn a lesson. Here’s what I learned. Big Government cannot manage the nation’s healthcare system…or anything else. Government drove a brothel into bankruptcy in Nevada. Government ran gambling (Off Track Betting) into bankruptcy in New York. Big Government has given you a $14 trillion national debt- $100 trillion if you add in unfunded liabilities. Your children and grandchildren face a bleak future because of Big Government. Big Government is a failure; I proved it in Massachusetts. I won’t let it happen again. I’ve learned from my mistake. I will not allow Obama to destroy our healthcare system by putting the government in charge. You have my word.” Insert: STANDING OVATION.


But no, Mitt didn’t deliver that speech. He delivered the only speech that could possibly snatch defeat from the jaws of certain victory. He defended the disaster he created in Massachusetts. Really? Could anyone be that blind, deaf and dumb? Who wrote his speech- the Chicago Cubs?


Then we come to Libertarian legend Ron Paul. When it comes to economic issues, Paul is a visionary. This trailblazer warned America and the GOP about the dangers of big government, overspending and the Fed long before it was hip. If he ran as a Libertarian or independent third party candidate, Paul might actually have an opportunity to win the Presidency, or at least build a serious third party movement. Unfortunately his views on war, military spending, and Osama will make it highly unlikely he can win a GOP primary. But I see an ideal role for Congressman Paul in any Republican administration- Treasury Secretary or Federal Reserve Chief. Now that would have an impact.


Doesn’t anyone want to beat Obama? Who’s left? Tim Pawlenty and Mitch Daniels? Two boring middle-aged white guys with the charisma of Al Gore? That’s the best the GOP has? Watching wet paint dry is more exciting, than watching Pawlenty or Daniels deliver a speech. Sorry, boys, but wet paint drying isn’t going to defeat Obama. Not if he has his teleprompter working properly.


Yes others could yet become the darkhorse for the GOP nomination- Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain, Gary Johnson, perhaps even Sarah Palin.


But someone in the GOP had better hope that Chris Christie is having a change of heart. Then get down on your knees and pray. Pray hard. Then ring the doorbell of the New Jersey Governor’s mansion and start begging. Because without a Christie miracle, the worst President in modern history just became the favorite for re-election.

The news media in this country are in a stupor. Either out of ignorance, or complete leftist bias and fraud to protect their socialist hero Barack Obama, the mainstream media has turned a blind eye toward the enormous disaster facing our economy. The greatest Ponzi scheme in world history is coming to an end, leaving America on the precipice of economic Armageddon. Here are the facts the mainstream media does not want you to see- hiding in plain site just like Osama bin Laden was.

Bill Gross is the world’s biggest bond trader. He runs the PIMCO bond fund with over $250 billion under management. He recently disclosed through financial filings that PIMCO has sold every single U.S. bond in its portfolio. Local, state, federal bonds- all sold off. Gross knows bonds are about to default in record numbers. And most importantly, he knows that the last resort of the Federal Reserve buying our own government’s bonds at auction is a certain sign of Armageddon. When no one is left to buy your own debt but you, you have reached the end of a Ponzi Scheme.

Then there is legendary Wall Street investor Stanley Druckenmiller. He, too, is calling the Fed’s bond purchases a fraud and a Ponzi scheme. Druckenmiller says, “There is a phony buyer of $19 billion per week of Treasury Bonds.” The phony buyer he refers to is the U.S. government. Druckenmiller knows that when a country resorts to buying its own debt, we are seeing the last days of the Roman Empire.

Another Wall Street legend, Jim Rogers, spoke out at a business conference last week. He said he plans to short sell (bet against) U.S. bonds with both hands. Rogers added, “If any of you have bonds, I would urge you to go home and sell them. If any of you are bond portfolio managers, I would get another job…if I were you, I would think about becoming a farmer.”

Finally, we have the opinion of municipal bond expert Meredith Whitney, named by Fortune magazine as “one of the 50 most powerful women in business,” and by Time magazine as “one of the 100 most influential people.” She sees America in financial ruin with 50 to 100 cities defaulting on their debt in the next year.

What do these financial legends know that the rest of us do not?

First of all, reality is catching up to America. The Ponzi scheme of printing fake money to pay real bills is coming to an end. The jig is up- there is no way to sustain America’s massive welfare state anymore. When the Stimulus runs out, states will face disaster. The federal government currently pays for 30% of the states’ bills. Without that welfare from the feds, the game is over for the states.

But that is just the start. The states pay 40% of the bills of their cities. As soon as that welfare ends, look for mounting numbers of municipalities to declare bankruptcy and default on their debts. The vicious cycle is only getting started.

On the federal level, the trustees of both Social Security and Medicare admitted just this past week that their massive Ponzi schemes are running on empty. Both funds are running out of money far sooner than projected. Social Security will now run a permanent deficit. It is also important to remember there is no money in the “lock box.” All that is in the lock box is worthless paper IOU’s. It has all been spent. The Ponzi scheme is unraveling.

The list goes on. The country’s annual deficit approaches $2 trillion. The national debt approaches a staggering $15 trillion. The debt plus unfunded liabilities approaches an unimaginable $100 trillion. The debt-to-GDP ratio approaches the 90% number- a figure that few countries have ever recovered from. One of every seven Americans is on food stamps. We are fighting three expensive wars with no purpose, and no end in sight.

Every economic recovery in modern history has been led by a residential real estate boom. Yet today, the real estate crash is accelerating. The current real estate implosion is now worse than the Great Depression.

But I have saved the worst for last. The two scourges of any economy are unemployment and inflation. That is why those two statistics make up the entire “Misery Index.” The only expert I trust to give the true figures is John Williams of ShadowStats.com. He calculates those numbers the way our own government did until 1990, when they decided to rig the system to prevent panic and unrest. Based on pre-1990 calculations, today’s CPI inflation is now over 10% and unemployment is 15%. This 25% Misery Index is, by far, the highest in modern history.

Even more foreboding, 10% inflation is a leading indicator of hyperinflation on the way. Any rise in inflation would force dramatic raises in interest rates, which would eat up the entire budget. Game over for America.

History always repeats. This vicious cycle of misery will force massive layoffs of government employees, and massive cuts in entitlements and social services. This will result in Greece-like levels of protests, government employee union strikes, unrest, and riots.

The ancient Chinese proverb says, "May you live in interesting times." We are all watching history. This is the unraveling of a Ponzi scheme.

Like the rest of America I cheered at the news of the killing of Osama bin Laden. I was thrilled. It made my night…and the next day too. One of the great vile, evil, villains of modern history had been eliminated. If you weren’t celebrating, there is a chip missing from your DNA.

But don’t fall for the trap. Don’t be distracted and forget the truth about government. As Ronald Reagan once said, "Government is not a solution to our problem, government is the problem." Government fails miserably at virtually everything it does, year after year, day after day, hour after hour. Government is brutal. Government violates our rights. Government steals your money and property. Government steals your liberty. Government tries its best to control your thinking, and your life. Government wastes billions every day, trillions over time -- OF YOUR MONEY.

But most of all, government loves to use sleight of hand to distract you. They manage to do one thing right, and then they try to use it to make us forget all their incompetence and the misery they’ve inflicted on us. Sorry, but occasionally even a blind squirrel finds an acorn. Should one successful accomplishment make the citizens forget the multitude of failures, theft, and rights violations of government? This commentary is just a reminder to my fellow Americans to not let them fool you or distract you -- Government at its best is a necessary evil, and that hasn’t changed.

Often even when government succeeds, it manages to fail miserably. Exhibit A is the killing of Osama bin Laden. Great job. Hoo-rah! God Bless Navy Seal Team 6. They have my eternal thanks for keeping my four children safe at night. They executed a successful plan by executing Osama. But don’t let that good point distract you from the failures of government. It took the U.S. government 10 years, 2 gigantic wars, and over one trillion dollars to find one 6’4” Muslim terrorist with kidney problems, whose face was known by every human being in the world, hiding in plain sight in the middle of a country supposedly run by our allies. Congratulations, you just won the award for “Disaster of the Decade.”

Yes, the final episode of this soap opera gets an A+ for showing Osama what “New York Attitude” is all about. Obama now sleeps with the fishes. The final episode of “Who Shot Osama” may have gotten record ratings and applause, but the long-running TV series should have been cancelled a decade ago. This entire episode proves government is an incompetent, inefficient, dismal flop. If Uncle Sam was a CEO, the shareholders would have fired him nine years and a few hundred billion dollars ago over this embarrassment. Then they’d have sued him for fraud and incompetence, and demanded all his salary back for ruining and bankrupting a perfectly good company.
You know what this whole episode really proves? Privatize as much of the government as possible, so it stops wasting our taxpayer money. If we had outsourced the job of finding and killing Osama to Ross Perot, Donald Trump, Bill Gates, or Richard Branson, allowed them to them put together their own private team of bounty hunters, and offered them $250,000,000 as a reward, they would have gotten the job done in a week or two. And the U.S. taxpayers would have saved hundreds of billions.

Osama would have been sleeping with the fishes back in 1998 after the embassy bombings, or in 2000 after the U.S.S. Cole bombing. 9/11 would never have happened in the first place. Instead we wasted ten years, trillions of dollars, and thousands of lives of American soldiers, on two costly wars and one decade-long incompetent search for Osama…all after the fact of 9/11. Government is slow, lumbering and incompetent -- always reacting late, always one step behind.

And how about the CIA? They are taking a victory lap after Osama’s death. Why? Our brilliant government listened to an incompetent CIA tell us that Iraq had WND’s and Osama had kidney disease. It turns out there were no WMD’s and Osama had no kidney disease. Actually, he had three young wives and a prescription for the Muslim version of Viagra. Great job, CIA. If the CIA was a contestant on Celebrity Apprentice, Donald Trump would say, “You’re fired.”

As one of America’s leading Libertarians and limited government advocates, I sincerely hope we’ve all learned a lesson. A simple one. Next time, hire Perot, Trump, Gates or Branson to get the job done. It’s time for government to get small, and get out of the way. God bless capitalism, entrepreneurship, and the private sector. Hoo-rah!

It’s official. Obama has declared war on capitalism. Which is funny, because he never officially declared war on Libya. But our fearless Marxist-in-Chief reserves a special brand of hatred for capitalism, entrepreneurship and rich people. Just days ago, Obama publicly blamed “speculators” for the rising price of gas. Obama publicly announced a war on speculators and speculation, imposing the Justice Department, government lawyers, cabinet heads, and the whole Big Brother kitchen sink on this “evil” bunch of capitalists.

Well I have news for you, Mr. Obama. You better go after many other Americans, too: Home buyers, stock buyers, gold buyers, art buyers, classic car buyers, wholesalers, small business owners and investors. Because everyone that risks money to buy things, and attempts to re-sell later at a profit is a…drumroll please…SPECULATOR.

By going after oil speculators, Obama is setting the stage to go after every businessman and woman in America, seeking to redefine profits as either immoral or criminal, and targeting, demonizing and punishing the people who invest in America, courageously take financial risk, and create most new jobs.

Why is Obama engaging in class warfare? Because A) He has to blame and demonize someone for his failures… B) He has to distract American consumers and voters from a failing economy and $5 per gallon gas… and C) Most investors and speculators are fiscal conservatives, many of whom contribute to Obama's political opposition.

Fess up, Mr. President. You are well aware that most people who invest, or risk money, or own businesses, can't stand you and your gangster government. They have you figured out as a Marxist out to ruin the U.S. economy and redistribute (aka steal) from the productive class to the entitlement class. The naked political truth is that you seek to brand your opposition as evil, and plunder them so they can no longer contribute to your opposition.

Perhaps El Presidente is much too busy looting producers to watch the movie Atlas Shrugged. So, let’s teach our Marxist-in-Chief an economics lesson. Speculation is the under-pinning of our entire economy, the very foundation of capitalism. It’s what has made America the greatest nation in world history. Profit (the end result of speculation) is why Americans are willing to take risks with their hard-earned money. It’s why they invest in business, which creates jobs for Americans.

Without speculation (i.e. financial risk), America’s corporations could not raise capital. Without speculators or investors, we’d have no economy. Without speculation, we’d have no jobs. Speculation sets the fair price for goods, products and services. One investor or speculator offers to buy a product at a certain price, while another offers to sell at a different price. This price-seeking mechanism redirects the economic engine of producers to best fulfill the needs of consumers.

Without speculation there is no free market economy- only a socialist state with industry, prices and wages controlled by the government. You can ask Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea, or the old Soviet Union how well that worked out.

Despite any rhetoric to the contrary, Obama lives in a rarefied, insulated world where he can afford to be ignorant of basic economics. He has collected a safe paycheck his whole life from either government, or some community organization. He has never risked or invested a dime in his life. He has never created a job. He has never made a payroll.

There is a big difference between my hometown of Las Vegas and Washington D.C. In Vegas the drunks gamble with their own money! Unfortunately for all of us, Obama is drunk with his own power, funded by your money, and dispensing it out to entitlement-addicted voters and the politically connected like it’s party time on New Years Eve. Obama is wrecking the U.S. economy for generations to come. Now he is declaring war on the very people who take the financial risks, create the jobs, and pay most of the taxes, for his own political gain.

Here’s one more economics lesson for you, Mr. Obama. You know why the price of gas is going up? Just look at the Marxist in the mirror. It’s your refusal to issue permits for oil drilling that has allowed the speculators to bet the price of oil up. It’s your federal taxes on each gallon of gasoline that are actually higher than the profit for each gallon earned by ExxonMobil. It’s your Federal Reserve printing unlimited sums of fake money, to pay for your irresponsible spending, that makes our dollars lose value, and therefore raises the price of gas. Look in the mirror, Mr. President- you are the problem. Not speculation. Not capitalism. It’s the Marxist in the mirror that is responsible.

It’s time to stop Obama before his gangster government shuts down all forms of enterprise. Before all the money is stolen, extorted, or redistributed from the productive class to the entitlement class in naked vote-buying schemes. Before Obama declares profits a dirty word. Before speculation, investing, or profit-taking becomes a crime in Obama's Marxist States of America. It’s time to recognize that this President is anathema to the freedoms and ideals of our Founding Fathers and send this Wesley Mouch (the villain from Atlas Shrugged- a typical government bureaucrat who cripples the economy) to early retirement.

I have spent the past few years predicting economic Armageddon on TV and radio shows across America. I have predicted the collapse of the dollar, the decline of the economy, the dangers of the debt and the Fed, and the incredible rise of gold and silver. All these predictions have been “on the money” while the liberal media has scoffed, rolled their eyes, and called me a fool. Monday's downgrade of the U.S. economy by Standard & Poor’s should be a wake-up call to everyone, even the media. America is in deep trouble. Economic Armageddon is fast approaching. The media need only look in the mirror to find the fool.

This brings up two important questions. Why is the media blind to the economic disaster befalling America? And, what does this have to do with Donald Trump and the place of Obama’s birth?

The answer to the first question is the national media is populated by Ivy League elites- extremely biased, "Lucky Sperm Club" leftists who drink the socialist-flavored Kool Aid. Few have ever started a business, made a payroll, or created a job. They know nothing about economics, or what is happening to small business owners on Main Street.

The answer to the second question has everything to do with the media's dislike, denigration and lack of understanding about the meteoric rise of Donald Trump’s Presidential prospects. They look down upon businessmen such as Trump. The reality is they are jealous of his success and chutzpah. Obama the community organizer is more their kind of guy. The liberal media elites who idolize Obama are angry when Trump questions where Obama was born. They consider this kind of question a joke. They believe no one could possibly care. They are clueless to the fact that real people, without liberal-elite agendas, are actually concerned about Obama’s background. But Donald Trump has figured that out.

You see “The Donald” is a businessman. He knows what his customer wants…and he is giving it to them. The media elites do not care or understand what their customers want. You think Katie Couric understood her customers? If she did, she would not be looking for a job right now. Donald Trump is interested in being hired, while Katie has just been fired for losing millions of viewers. That is the difference between a smart businessman and a leftist media elitist who thinks she knows it all.

Trump has brilliantly brought up an issue that millions of Americans are pondering. Main Street Americans are rightfully concerned to learn that it is impossible to get a passport in America without a long form birth certificate, yet we’ve allowed a man to become President without the same document. Real Americans are incredulous that it is impossible to land any corporate executive job without a detailed background check, yet we know virtually nothing about our President’s background. Real Americans have open and transparent college records, while we have elected a President who has sealed his college records. Real Americans suspect that where there is smoke, there might be fire.

You can not get a job at Microsoft, or Charles Schwab, or Bank of America without a stringent background check and proof of citizenship. Many reasonably ask why it is easier to get a job in Congress or the White House. Asking Obama to prove his background does not make you extreme, or crazy, or a lunatic. It does not even make you a “birther.” It just means you expect that all candidates for higher office should produce proof of citizenship and detailed records concerning their background. That is just common sense.

Do I personally believe Obama was born in a foreign country? I have no idea. I am not a birther, but I do believe there might be something damaging hidden in his college, if not his birth records. Why do I think that? Because Obama acts suspiciously. Because he hires armies of lawyers to keep his records sealed. I also believe all Americans have a right to ask the question of the man who commands our army and our economy. Ironically, the more Obama refuses to produce the proof, and the more millions of dollars he spends on legal maneuvering to hide that proof, the more concerned Americans become. Obama is the one stoking the fire, not Trump.

Now that it is not nutcases, conspiracy theorists, or extreme right wingers asking, but rather a credible American CEO, celebrity, and billionaire, wouldn’t you think Obama would produce the long form birth certificate, if it exists? If Trump is a charlatan…if Trump is exploiting a slanderous lie…then why exactly is Obama not destroying Trump’s political career by producing the birth certificate? It is so easy and simple- show it and the circus ends instantly. Trump’s gamble would turn into the biggest losing bet in modern political history. So Mr. President, why aren’t you shaming him? Where's the beef?

Funny how the “crazy people” seem more credible every day, while the guy in the White House appears more and more as if he has something to hide. Every day Obama refuses to answer, Trump appears more credible and more Presidential…while Obama comes across more like the charlatan.

The media elites have missed the boat once again. They have refused to cover the biggest story of the year- one their customers want to hear about. They are blinded by their bias and one-sided leftist agenda. Just as they have been blinded to the damage Obama’s socialist agenda has done to the economy. They are in denial. But it is just bad business to ignore the interests of your customers.

And maybe, just maybe, the businessman and self-promoter extraordinaire who understands his customers, is actually a modern day Houdini. If Trump is proven right, he will have pulled the White House out of his hat and made Obama disappear. That could yet prove to be the most amazing magic act of all-time.

Only days ago, Howard Dean gave a speech where he insinuated that anyone who says “Obama is a Socialist” is crazy, ignorant, racist, or extreme. Funny, a recent national poll shows that a majority (55%) of Americans believe “Socialist” best describes Obama. Another poll shows the Democrat Party is filled with people who identify with Socialism. I say, it’s time for them to come out of the closet.

I ought to know. I was Obama’s college classmate at Columbia University Class of ’83. Our college was dominated by Socialists and Marxists who hated capitalism and America. Let’s look at the facts up close and personal- Jeff Foxworthy style. Foxworthy leaves no doubt as to “who might be a redneck.” Let me leave no doubt that “Obama might be a Socialist.”

If you believe it's greedy for American taxpayers to want to keep more of their OWN money…but not greedy to demand government confiscate other people’s money and redistribute it to those who didn’t earn it…YOU MIGHT BE A SOCIALIST.

If you don’t understand (or care) that babies scream and cry the moment they are born because they are already heavily in debt and facing a bleak future and lower quality of life…YOU MIGHT BE A SOCIALIST.

If the only thing you, your cabinet members, and czars know about business is from books read at Harvard Law School...written by Karl Marx…YOU MIGHT BE A SOCIALIST.

If you want to allocate hundreds of millions to the IRS, to go after tax cheats when your administration is filled with tax cheats…including the guy in charge of America's taxes (Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner)...YOU MIGHT BE A SOCIALIST.

If you think the “White House Party Crashers” are terrible people because they came to a state dinner without an invitation, but you want to give instant citizenship to twelve million uninvited “illegal aliens” who crashed our border…YOU MIGHT BE A SOCIALIST.

If you think anyone who doesn't read the New York Times is dumb and ignorant...but think it's okay for Congress to pass a 2000 page healthcare bill without reading it...YOU MIGHT BE A SOCIALIST.

If you think Times’ columnist Paul Krugman deserves a Nobel Prize for economics and you deserve a Nobel Peace Prize even though neither of you created a job or ended a war…YOU MIGHT BE A SOCIALIST…AND AN IDIOT TOO.

If you think it's okay to meet with dictators, bullies, tyrants and terrorist sympathizers without preconditions, but have no interest in meeting with conservatives in Congress...YOU MIGHT BE A SOCIALIST.

If you think it's okay to give Constitutional rights to terrorists…but not to the bondholders, shareholders and secured creditors of GM & Chrysler when you stole the company from them and awarded it to the unions that bankrupted them ...YOU MIGHT BE A SOCIALIST.

If you think Raul Castro, the leader of communist Cuba, firing 500,000 government employees by telling them "government can no longer employ or take care of everyone"…isn’t a hint that perhaps America needs to reduce our obscene number of government employees…YOU MIGHT BE A SOCIALIST.

If you think Bush’s spending was an embarrassment, a travesty, and a sin…but you have no problem increasing the national debt more in one day than the entire 2007 budget deficit…YOU MIGHT BE A SOCIALIST…AND HYPOCRITE TOO.

If you think Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar of “The View” represent the moderate wing of the Democrat Party…YOU MIGHT BE A SOCIALIST.

If you think it was okay for Nancy Pelosi to pass Obamacare so she could benefit from the special clause on page 1,890...that gives free facelifts to public officials...YOU MIGHT BE A SOCIALIST. (Just kidding!)

If you want to convert America to a “green economy” to create jobs…after Spain has proven the green economy destroys three times as many jobs as it creates and leads to 20% unemployment…YOU MIGHT BE A SOCIALIST.

If you think denying someone a job, government contract, or entry to college because of the color of their skin is immoral and criminal…but GIVING someone a job, government contract, or college admission because of a different color of their skin is “social justice”…YOU MIGHT BE A SOCIALIST…AND A RACIST TOO.

If you want to abandon capitalism and put the economy under the control of government bureaucrats, even though virtually every city, county, state and federal department run by these same bureaucrats is insolvent and bankrupt...YOU MIGHT BE A SOCIALIST.

If you favor taxpayer bailouts of companies who give you campaign contributions…and hide it by refusing to disclose who got the money, or how much…and you demand your cronies in Congress pass the 1000+ page bailout bill without reading it...YOU MIGHT BE A SOCIALIST…AND A FASCIST TOO.

If you think spending an extra trillion dollars will SAVE money on healthcare and reduce the deficit...YOU MIGHT BE A SOCIALIST…AND I’M BETTING YOU LEARNED YOUR MATH IN PUBLIC SCHOOL.

If your solution to Medicare driving the country into bankruptcy is expanding it to everyonewith Obamacare…YOU MIGHT BE A SOCIALIST...AND I'M BETTING YOU FLUNKED OUT OF PUBLIC SCHOOL.

If want to lower the cost of healthcare…but left out "Tort Reform"...YOU MIGHT BE A SOCIALIST LAWYER.

If you're a Columbia University professor...and gave a student named Barack Obama an “A” in economics…YOU ARE DEFINTELY A SOCIALIST…AND SHOULDN’T BE TEACHING ECONOMICS TO ANYONE.

And finally, in the 8th year of the Obama Presidency, if Bangladesh is hosting “Aid America” concerts, or you’re standing in line for toilet paper…YOU HAVE A SOCIALIST PRESIDENT.

It’s time to stand up and loudly call a Socialist…a Socialist!

Are you aware that the number of rapes now surpasses breast cancer cases? Do you realize a woman or child is raped or molested in this country every two minutes? While politically correct politicians in D.C. wear the famous pink ribbon to acknowledge their sensitivity to the threat of breast cancer, those same men (and women) turn their backs on rape. Worse, they create bills that appear to punish rape and incest victims.

Are you aware politicians are now choosing to cut spending on abortions and medical care for rape and incest victims, instead of where the real money is spent? Are you aware that if they get their way, women will be required to pay for their rape kits and tests after being sexually assaulted? Talk about adding insult to injury. It’s occurring right now, but I’ve heard nothing in the news, or on talk radio. Nothing. The silence is deafening.

Speaker John Boehner, the man who cried through his interview on 60 minutes, has somehow lost his empathy when it comes to rape victims. His wife explained he was emotional about his new appointment as House Speaker. Really? So Mr. Speaker, where are your emotions when fast-tracking a bill on rape and abortion? Do you really want to expend political capital to cut funding for rape victims and require them to pay for their own tests and rape kits? Do you want people to believe that one of your first budget cutting decisions was to eliminate funding for little girls who have gotten pregnant through incest? Why support a bill lumping run-of-the-mill abortion with violent or criminal behavior?

Talk about being politically tone deaf!

Speaker Boehner, have you and your fellow Congresspersons taken a look at the statistics? Do you really want to make a case that this is about women trying to beat the system for a free abortion, rather than about men victimizing, brutalizing, and raping women and children? Do you really want to come across as punishing the victims? Do you really want to debate your opponents who will claim that you force women and teenage girls to have babies conceived during rape or incest? Where’s your empathy for a 12-year-old who winds up pregnant because her Step-Father, Uncle, or mother’s boyfriend decides to rape her? You lump those circumstances in with abortion, as if the teenage girl or rape victim is guilty of a crime or sinful decision? How can you be concerned with rape and violence against women and children in Libya, while men are still violating women’s rights in the Stone Age of 2011 right here in America?

Where is Sarah Palin, Hillary Clinton, or Nancy Pelosi on this issue? I must admit I’m a big fan of Sarah Palin’s position on the Second Amendment. Maybe if women watched her TV reality show they would learn to shoot a gun, defend themselves, and avoid being victims. But that doesn’t mean Sarah Palin is blameless. While Palin was mayor of Wasilla, the city billed sexual assault victims and their insurance companies for the cost of rape kits and forensic examinations. One of the legitimate functions of local government is to investigate crimes and prosecute criminals. Why bill the victims for a crime scene investigation? Are other victims of crime other than rape routinely billed for the investigation by government? Perhaps Sarah knew nothing about it then. But now that she does, it’s time she takes a stand against it.

While the GOP is fast tracking the HR-3 bill, do they realize last year only 119 abortions in the United States were covered due to rape? I don’t think cutting out the bill for 119 rape victims will help much with the national debt.

As one of America’s Libertarian/conservative and Tea Party political leaders, I’m a big supporter of cuts in spending and the size of government. We need dramatic cuts and we need them now. I’ve publicly suggested 33% across the board spending cuts over the next three years. I’m a supporter of ending Federal government funding of abortions. It is not Washington’s job to pay for abortions. I believe government has a limited role (as defined by the Constitution), and we should move back to that as quickly as possible. But why not first focus our efforts on spending cuts that most Americans can unite behind?

Combining rape and abortion on the same bill makes no sense. While we should never support the Federal government funding run-of-the-mill abortions, let’s at least be smart about this and make clear to the American public that we care about victims of rape or incest. I want to encourage fellow Americans – and that even includes a few Congressmen– to demonstrate you care for these victims by making a personal online donation to the Rape, Abuse, & Incest National Network (www.rainn.org), or volunteering at a local rape crisis center.

And I want to say two things to Speaker of the House John Boehner, Majority Leader Eric Cantor and the GOP Congress:
First, Americans put you back in power to cut the budget, not to focus on your social agenda, so don’t waste this opportunity by coming across as treating rape or incest victims as criminals.

Second, remember that the majority of Tea Party activists are women. And hell hath no fury like an angry and violated Tea Party woman!
